Located in the popular Palm Aruba Condos Resort is this very charming and spacious 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo with a large balcony plus a rooftop terrace perfect for enjoying Aruba’s sunny weather

THE CONDO

The condo is located on the second floor of the west building, with private stairs up to the unit, a large private corridor with plenty of storage space and an outside laundry room gives a perfect sense of space and is just one of the traits that makes this condo unique. Once inside you can walk freely around in the open plan living area that features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room. The doors of the living area open up to a beautiful and cozy balcony with lovely views of the pool. A spiral staircase guides the way to your very own rooftop terrace with a BBQ-grill, a four-seat dininng table and a full bathroom.

This beach style condo has an open plan living area with a fully equipped open kitchen, a 6-seat dining table, a sofa bed, a TV, and access to the furnished terrace just steps from the pool. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV, a built-in closet and an en-suite master bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a TV and a built-in closet. The second bathroom with a shower is located in the corridor. The third bathroon is on the terrace. Central Air Conditioning in all areas, hot water, free wireless internet, in-room washer/dryer facilities are all available for your extra comfort.

THE RESORT

Palm Aruba Condos is among the most deluxe condominium resorts on the island of Aruba, providing you with various sized vacation rental condos and a unique resort experience. Palm Aruba Condos is located in the heart of the Palm Beach area of our “One Happy Island”. The resort offers a ‘kiddies’ pool, adult pool, recreational area with 4 large BBQ-grills (It's free, but please book in advance), picnic tables, a small playground, and hard surface tennis and (half) basketball practice court. There is also a gym which overlooks the pool area and has several treadmills as well as plenty of fitness equipment to keep you fit during your stay!! The pool area is surrounded by sunlounges, lounge chairs, tables and parasols and is the perfect place to relax with a glass (or two) of wine and a good book, or an iPad!

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW

Palm Beach offers plenty of water sports companies, piers, beach bars, restaurants, entertainment, casinos and shops. Two of the largest shopping malls in Aruba, Palm Beach Plaza Mall and Paseo Herencia, cater to the shopping fever and offer various restaurants, cinema theaters, water fountain shows, game rooms, bowling, arcade games and Spa facilities. At night this area comes to life as the various lively nightclubs, cafe, bars and restaurant give an upbeat entertainment experience. Palm Beach, also known as the high-rise area, is a tourism district about 4 miles northwest of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. Several exquisite beaches, like the Eagle Beach, Hadicurari Beach, Malmok Beach, Boca Catalina Beach and the Arashi Beach are just a few minutes’ drive away. The calm turquoise waters make the 2km long beach area a comfortable haven for swimmers, beachgoers and sun seekers. In the evening the beaches are a great setting to enjoy some amazing Caribbean sunsets!

Just a stone’s throw away from the Palm Aruba Condos you can find a variety of eating places – from breakfast to dinner -, a gas station, several convenient stores, a local bank and the Caribbean famed ‘Island Yoga Center’ – a yoga sanctuary in Aruba.

GOLF

For the golf enthusiast there are two golf courses on the island. Firstly, ‘The Links at Divi Aruba Golf Course’ and is part of the Divi Village complex but is open to visitors. It is a 9-hole course and a bit expensive during the daytime so best to wait until Twilight time after 3pm. The other course is the Tierra del Sol Golf Complex. It is an 18-hole PGA course and designed by the legendary Robert Trent-Jones. The views are simply awesome, especially on the front 9 but do bear in mind it is almost always windy so take plenty of golf balls! Clubs, shoes, etc are available to rent. The green fee includes a GPS equipped buggy. Incidentally, they have a fabulous bar and restaurant and, even if you are not a golfer, it is a great place to go for a sunset cocktail. And the staff are lovely!

GETTING AROUND the Palm Beach area

You can use the bus service - and it is pretty good if you just want to go into the city for some shopping or just to walk around, but you'll miss out on some great exploring of the island if you don't rent a car. There are several car rental companies in the Palm Beach area and they are quite reasonable. There are also a number of bike hire companies on the island and you will generally find them good value and easy-going. You will find further information online and, after you arrive, our concierge service at the main desk will be happy to help you.

GUEST INTERACTION

We are Mary and Peter, and we are your hosts. We spend quite a lot of time in Aruba but if we are not there during your stay but the concierge desk at the resort will be your friend throught your stay!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

IMPORTANT : Sometimes, for operational or emergency repair / maintenance reasons we may need to change the condo that has been booked to a different, but similar, condo. We guarantee that the replacement condo will be the same type (e.g. 1 or 2 bedroom) and, if possible, on the same floor. There will be no extra charge, and don't worry, it rarely happens, and all our apartments are of the same 5-star standard...!

Whilst we do all we can to ensure your property is handed over to you in the best / cleanest condition, we ask all our guests to please check the apartment for anything which does not meet your expectations, or anything that is not working, at the time of check-in and to advise either the resort management or ourselves immediately.

Please remember this stay is an 'AirBnB' type booking and what may be available to Hotel or Resort guests may not be available to our guests. The departure cleaning fee you have paid is for cleaning and sanitizing your apartment following your departure and before the next guest arrives. If you are staying for more than one week and you require interim cleaning and bed linen / towel changes then an additional charge of $45 per instance is payable directly to the cleaning / maintenance company at the resort. This is an option, of course, and is not mandatory!

GETTING AROUND from the airport

Most guests arrive in Queen Beatrix International Airport which is approximately 11 km from the resort. There is a good taxi service at the airport but be sure to take one of the official taxis as there are sometimes private taxi drivers who will offer to take you someplace and then overcharge you! If you intend renting a car for your stay, there are a number of car-hire companies at the airport and we have not had any complaints from our guests about their service. If you do pick up a car at the airport it is very straight forward getting to our resort. Travel north on the "LG.Smith Boulevard (Route 1A) to the area called NOORD (where the High-rise hotels are and near the beach) . It should only take around 15 mins. Detailed information on how to get to the condo will be sent to you a couple of weeks before your check-in date, so don’t worry about getting lost!
